IT Support Engineer

The position provides system administration and proactive support of the IT environment in a customer-focused environment. The position maintains smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, requiring coordination with other administrators. Independently, and with teammates, will determine and develop solutions to situations. Thorough understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories, and concepts are needed along with general knowledge of other related disciplines, the IT Support Engineer performs duties as a Support Engineer through a team approach in support of the infrastructure operations, hardware, software, and mobile devices.

A high school diploma or equivalent GED is required.
A minimum of four years of IT support related experience is required.
A minimum of six months of management experience is required.


Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions in person-to-person and small group situations with customers, clients, the public, and other employees of the organization. Ability to read, analyze, and understand general business/company-related articles and professional journals; Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of known variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram formats.

Position will be in the office with remote possibility for a few days a week.

Hours: M-F-8:00am-5:00 pm. Saturdays-9:00 am-12:00pm on rotation
