Human Resources Generalist


Job Description:
Prepares/Maintains employment records related to hiring, terminations, leaves, transfers and promotions using HR management system software. Interpret/Explain HR and Company policies, procedures, laws, standards and/or regulations. Assist employees with general needs, questions and changes.
Assist in hiring process for all departments, including recruiting, interviewing, processing new hire documents, forms and payroll information. Assist with annual Open Enrollment process for all company sponsored benefits.
Serves as Health Benefits coordinator: Responsible for daily/monthly health, dental and supplemental plan benefit enrollments, changes, updates and Blues Enroll system management. Serves as FMLA coordinator; prepares confidential health notices, documents and leave management information. Maintains current knowledge of EEO and affirmative actions guidelines and laws.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Human Resources or related field).
HR work related experience (2+ years)
Ability to provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality.
Excellent written/verbal communication skills. Ability to present self in a professional manner while representing Farm Bureau.
