Corporate Editor


Multi-disciplined engineering firm Garver seeks a detail-oriented Corporate Editor to write and manage external and internal company messages. This position will be a critical team member to Garver’s in-house marketing team.

Key responsibilities in this position include:
•Write, edit, and provide creative direction for the company’s print and online newsletter
•Write and manage content for the company blog and website
•Manage social media marketing and monitor company references online
•Write, edit, and proofread documents such as brochures, emails, reports, ads, and mailers
•Work with the media in various states to provide press releases and news briefs
•Update and write information for company internal database

Minimum Requirements
•Bachelor’s degree in journalism, public relations, English, or a related field
•5+ years of public writing experience
•Demonstrated excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
•Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines

Preferred Skills
•Experience with AP Stylebook
•Experience in social media marketing
•Experience using Adobe InDesign
•Photography skills
