Position Information/Description: To enter, code, retrieve, and validate information and modify incomplete or incorrect information relative to warrants, stolen articles, stolen vehicles, and missing and warranted persons in the Police Department records management system and Arkansas Crime Information Center (ACIC)/National Crime Information Center (NCIC) computer system to ensure compliance with all applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, policies and procedures.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must possess a valid Arkansas Class D (Non-Commercial Vehicle) Driver's License before employment and maintain licensure for the duration of employment in this position.
Must possess valid Arkansas Crime Information Center (ACIC)/National Crime Information Center (NCIC) Level 1, Basic Terminal Operator, and Level 2, Advanced Operator, certifications before employment in this position and maintain certifications for the duration of employment in this position.
Must possess Learning Transfer and Impact, Train the Trainer certification through Arkansas Crime Information Center (ACIC) prior to conducting ACIC certification training in this position and maintain certification for the duration of employment in this position.

Minimum Qualifications and Additional Requirements:
These knowledge, skills, and abilities are usually, although not always, acquired through the completion of two (2) years of college or vocational-technical school coursework in Computer Operations, Office Procedures, or a related area, and two (2) years of experience in computerized records maintenance, and one (1) years of lead worker or supervisory experience. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
