Career dream as a child
“To be a storm chaser. Then I realized I was afraid of the storms. Not a great combo.”
Professional “aha” moment
“Stepping outside of television and into the business world was initially intimidating. The shift felt like a huge leap, but I quickly realized I had incredible support from both my family and the team at Delta Solar. With their encouragement, I gained the confidence to embrace this new chapter and pursue success in a completely different field. Knowing I wasn’t alone made all the difference, and it’s been an exciting and rewarding journey ever since.”
Advice for your 18-year-old self
“Try not to use words on broadcasts back-to-back that when combined violate FCC rules. For example: ‘shot’ and ‘hit.’ Also, trust your instincts. They will (mostly) serve you well.”
