• Founding member of Garver’s Innovation Incubator.
• Launched a GIS group within Garver, rapidly growing its headcount and geographic reach.
• Developed a GIS-based dam break analysis tool used nationwide — winner of the ACEC Mississippi Grand Award in 2015 (as a non-engineer).

Career dream as a child
“I never had one. For some reason I thought that if I said I wanted to be X or Y when I grew up, that I was locked into that career for the rest of my life. I have made sure that my kids don’t have this same irrational fear.”
Advice for your 18-year-old self
“I would only say be yourself. I need him to get beat up and bruised, and lose and win, and learn and grow, to be me today.”

“Be curious with the world around you. It’s big, messy, and there are still untold things to solve.”
