Community involvement
Mentor, Young Storytellers Program, Gibbs Elementary. Help kids write a five-page script that gets performed by professional actors in front of their classmates and teachers. For most, it is the first story they have written in their lives, inspiring them to be creative and gives them confidence.
Professional “aha” moment
“I technically have two professions: one in business and one in the arts. My ‘aha’ moment was when I realized that I could do both, that one did not take away from the other, but, rather, they worked in harmony. My gifts in business give me an edge as an artist, and my gifts as an artist give me an edge in business.”
Career dream as a child
“To be a circus clown or chocolatier.”
Most fulfilling career moment
“It’s a tie. One is getting my play, ‘Responders,’ produced here in Arkansas with my wife, Kelsey, in the cast. The other is sharing this recognition with my two brothers, who I love working with.”
