Professional “aha” moment
“It was my first job in banking, I was helping our new retail CFO learn about deposits and retail banking. Here was me, a guy in his 20s with a couple years of banking experience, teaching a seasoned, 20-year investment banker out of New York about deposit analytics, pricing and strategy. He offered me a job the next day to work for him, I quickly realized ‘I found what I am good at.’”
Most fulfilling career moment
“Meeting a client who was extremely frustrated with their banking experience, who when I first met him said, ‘You will have to work a miracle for me to stay with your bank.’ He stayed, later becoming a key advocate for us.”
