To view this, and other exciting career opportunities, visit JOB DESCRIPTION:To provide assistance to the Sustainability Officer with developing, administering, monitoring and promoting a city-wide recycling and sustainability program; to perform activities designed to increase awareness and educate the public about recycling and sustainability initiatives by developing information and presenting various programs to schools, civic groups, businesses, neighborhood associations and other community organizations. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: VISIT for a complete list of Essential Job Functions Minimum Qualifications and Additional Requirements: These knowledge, skills, and abilities are usually, although not always, acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Education, Environmental Science, Public Administration, or a related area; two (2) years of experience in the development and presentation of educational and training programs relating to recycling and sustainability-related initiatives, or related area. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENT: Must be available to work outside of regular working hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
