The Sr. Recruiter is a talent recruiter within the UAMS Talent Acquisition department.  This position focuses on partnering with hiring managers to anticipate and meet the evolving needs of UAMS, deliver the best talent to the organization, manage the staffing needs for multiple job families, and provide support in carrying out various human resource functions.  This position provides full cycle recruiting to fulfill the staffing needs of designated services lines and/or organizational units. Responsibilities: Partner with Hiring Managers to analyze, develop and implement recruiting plans to attract diverse talent for targeted jobs/functions/business units Recommend ideas, concepts and best practice approaches to enhance effectiveness, cost-efficiency, and quality of UAMS recruitment programs and processes Build networks and develop working relationships with colleges, government agencies, private contacts and other sources to create and maintain a pipeline of diverse qualified talent for current and future needs Assist with the job posting and advertisement processes Leverage social networking, referrals, job boards and professional associations to attract top talent Conducts advanced data mining for applicants and prospects passive candidates who are not active job seekers Review resumes and screen candidates to align the appropriate Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) in relation to position requirements Respond to applicant inquiries Provide Hiring Managers with tools such as screening qualifiers and position specific interview questions Assist, as needed, in the interview process by conducting interviews with department managers Collaborates with the hiring managers and/or other HR staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details of the verbal and written job offer Extend offers, to include creating offer letters, initiating and following up on drug screen and background verifications Initiate and maintain reference checking of applicants, if applicable (via electronic or other reference checking means) Assists New Hires with completing On-Boarding tasks, and sends candidate information regarding New Employee Orientation Track and manage all activities and communication via the Applicant Tracking System Identify and attend diversity recruiting events Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor Degree in Human Resources, Business or relevant field of study plus five (5) years of recruiting experience. Excellent communication skills. Intermediate knowledge of MS Office Suite. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Workday. Professional certification – Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Society of Human Resources Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP).
