JOB OBJECTIVE: To plan and direct activities related to computer systems network design, internal and external connectivity, implementation, maintenance, security, and usage to establish and maintain maximum network resources for the Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau (LRCVB) users and patrons. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None Minimum Qualifications and Additional Requirements: These knowledge, skills, and abilities are usually, although not always, acquired through the completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related area, and five (5) years of experience in the administration and maintenance of network architecture and security network and software systems, or related area. Aruba Certified Mobility Professional or Expert (ACMP/X), Aruba Certified Switching Professional or Expert (ACSP/X), Aruba Certified Design Professional or Expert (ACDP/X), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), and Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Certification(s) preferred. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be available to respond to emergency calls outside of normal working hours to include nights, weekends, and holidays, as required. This position may require one or more of the following pre-employment screenings: drug and alcohol screening, or background investigation.
