First Security Bank of Searcy last week settled its lawsuit against Lauren James Enterprises Inc. of Fayetteville, ending a legal battle that included allegations that the women’s clothing company conducted a sham foreclosure sale in August to avoid paying the bank.

We're back with our second week of ArkansasSports360.com "Confidential," our early-in-the-week roundtable about what we saw over the weekend and our impressions as Arkansas started the season with an easy and expected 51-7 win over Missouri State. We touch on the most talked-about topic after the opener, which is where the Arkansas running game stands after totaling just 102 yards in the win. Also, LSU carried the SEC banner well against Oregon, Arkansas has another relatively easy test ahead this week in Little Rock, and the NFL opens the season on Thursday night.

We spoke to a gathering of folks in Stuttgart on Wednesday night about the prospects for Arkansas Razorback football. We told them up front, the prospects aren't good. In fact, the season's over. Star running back Knile Davis is injured and lost for the year. We asked them, "Why are you even here?"
