The Conductor in Conway received a $30,000 grant from the Central Arkansas Planning and Development District, with state Sen. Jason Rapert and Rep. David Meeks supported the awarding of those funds. The money will be used to cover the non-salary-related expenses of the Conductor's Brand Camp, High School Startup Day and other talent development initiatives. The Conductor is a public-private partnership of UCA, Startup Junkie Consulting and the Community Venture Foundation that aims to encourage innovation, entrepreneurship and economic development. read more >
