Natural State Laboratories Offers Testing For Elective Surgery Patients

1 min read

Natural State Laboratories in North Little Rock has expanded its offerings to meet the growing demand for expedited COVID-19 testing from patients with upcoming elective surgeries.

Under a new Arkansas Department of Health directive, health care providers resumed those procedures on Monday, and their patients must be tested for the virus 48 hours prior to any procedure.

So the company is providing drive-thru testing to pre-screened patients from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday-Friday and from 1-4 p.m. Sunday at New Life Church, 8000 Crystal Hill Road in North Little Rock.

A signed order from the provider performing the elective procedure is required for testing. NSL said test results will be provided within 24 hours.

“Tackling the coronavirus pandemic requires a swift, concerted and effective effort,” CEO Steve Harrison said in a news release. “With the help of hardworking health care professionals across the state, Natural State Laboratories is proud to offer the COVID-19 testing services needed to help ease our state’s steady transition into operations as normal.”
