BKD CPAs & Advisors announced that Susan Davenport will succeed Ryan Underwood as its next Arkansas managing partner, effective Jan. 1.
Davenport has served BKD’s health system and hospital clients for more than 26 years and is the health care office industry leader for the firm’s Arkansas operations.
She previously chaired the board of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Arkansas in Little Rock and co-chaired the 2019 Chocolate Fantasy Ball. Davenport has also served as Arkansas chapter president, then as regional executive, of the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
Underwood will continue his duties while assisting Davenport through the transition and will dedicate the balance of his career to serving clients full time as a leader within BKD National Financial Services Group, the company said.
