The main office of Little Rock’s Encore Bank is on the move. The $584 million-asset lender is relocating its headquarters to Suite 100 at 1801 Rahling Road in west Little Rock.
“We hope to be in there sometime late this year,” said Barry Jackson, senior vice president and chief marketing officer at Encore.
Once the migration is completed, the bank’s 8,752-SF HQ at 12224 Chenal Parkway will remain in action as a full-service branch. The reason behind the move is simple: “We don’t have the space to put everybody,” Jackson said.
The headcount of Encore staffers grew from 28 to 61 between June 30, 2019-20, accompanied by asset growth from $196 million to $584 million.
The bank recorded a $1.2 million profit through the first two quarters of 2020. That compares with a loss of $1.4 million for the same period in 2019 when Encore was ramping up operations.
