Chris Bates, CEO of The Computer Hut (right), shakes hands with Bill Stuckey, president of Pinnacle IT.
The Computer Hut LLC of Little Rock has acquired Pinnacle IT of Fort Smith.
“We’re thrilled to have the Pinnacle IT team join The Computer Hut and to provide an expanded portfolio of solutions across Arkansas for manufacturing, professional services and health care organizations,” Chris Bates, CEO of The Computer Hut, said in a news release.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Bates said the merger was a “great cultural fit” and that Pinnacle IT’s focus on security and customer service aligned with his company’s values and service focus.
The Computer Hut, a two-time Arkansas Business of the Year finalist, said the deal expands its technical and geographic presence in Arkansas’ River Valley.
Pinnacle IT President Bill Stuckey said “joining The Computer Hut just makes us stronger.”
The Computer Hut will add a technical engineer position and a business development position as a result of the merger, expanding its employee count to more than 35. Post-merger, the company will have five offices in Little Rock, Lowell, Texarkana, Jonesboro and Fort Smith.
