
Danna Wagnon Taylor has been appointed chief quality officer for the Medical Center for South Arkansas in El Dorado. Taylor has been in the health care industry for a decade. Most recently, she served as vice president of operations for MCSA.

Dr. Taqi Zafar has been hired by the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock as an epilepsy specialist.
Zafar is an assistant professor for the adult epilepsy program and also sees patients at UAMS Health Epilepsy & Neurology Clinic.
A graduate of Shifa College of Medicine in Islamabad, Pakistan, Zafar completed a neurology residency at State University of New York Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York, followed by an epilepsy fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.
Brian Davis has been named chief executive officer of professional counseling associates for Arisa Health in Conway. Davis will remain the chief executive officer of counseling associates, a role he’s served since 2017.
Reginal Thomas Sr. of Strong was appointed by Arkansas House Speaker Matthew Shepherd to a four-year term on the Arkansas Medical Marijuana Commission. Thomas succeeds Travis Story, whose term expired in December.
Thomas has worked at Murphy USA since 2005.
