Paul Lowe to Lead LR, Memphis, Nashville Markets for Simmons Bank

Simmons Bank has promoted Paul Lowe to metro division president for Little Rock, Memphis and Nashville.

Lowe has 20 years of experience in corporate and real estate banking at various institutions. He previously led Simmons Bank’s Central Arkansas Division as market president. Before joining Simmons Bank in 2019, Lowe was executive vice president and president of corporate banking at Bear State Bank.

He is a graduate of Ouachita Baptist University and has served as an advisory board member for the Hickingbotham School of Business for more than 15 years. Lowe is also a graduate of the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University and an alumnus of the Leadership Greater Little Rock Class XXIII.

David Stogsdill will succeed Lowe as the bank’s central Arkansas market president. He was promoted from senior vice president of commercial banking and previously served as senior vice president of corporate banking for Regions Bank before joining Simmons Bank in 2018.

Stogsdill is also a graduate of Ouachita Baptist University. He is an alumnus of the Leadership Greater Little Rock Class XXXIII. He serves as a board member for Heart of Arkansas United Way and the Downtown Little Rock Partnership, and is a past board member for the Central Arkansas RMA and the Centers for Youth and Families’ Young Professionals Board.
