
Adora Curry has joined the Thaden School of Bentonville as director of advancement. She previously worked as advancement marketing and alumni relations manager at the University of Arkansas-Pulaski Technical College.
Curry holds a bachelor’s degree in radio, television and film from Howard University of Washington, D.C., and a master’s degree in rhetoric and professional writing from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

Emily Jean Hood has joined the University of Arkansas at Little Rock as the new assistant professor of art education.
Before joining UA Little Rock, Hood was a visiting assistant professor at Appalachian State University of Boone, North Carolina.
Hood earned a bachelor’s degree in humanities from Lubbock Christian University of Texas and a master’s degree and Ph.D. in art education from the University of North Texas in Denton.

Robert Mitchell has been appointed director of the School of Business at UA Little Rock.
Mitchell has more than four decades of experience at UA Little Rock, having started at the university in 1979.
Before becoming director, he was chair of the Department of Management, Marketing & Technology.
He has also served as chair of the Department of Business Information Systems, associate dean for Undergraduate Studies and interim dean of the College of Business.

LaTonda Williams has been named the new associate vice chancellor of human resources for UA Little Rock, overseeing the Department of Human Resources, recruitment, employee benefits and the Office of Title IX.
Williams joined UA Little Rock in 2007. She earned a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Henderson State University of Arkadelphia. At UA Little Rock, she earned graduate certificates in management and conflict mediation. She will graduate in 2022 with a Master of Public Administration.
Eldon Alik, Charisse Childers, Lynn Dauzat, Andrew Faulkner, Meg Gullotta, Josh Hallenbeck, Laura Monteverdi, Ann Owens, Jason Parker, Joe Quinn and Allison Roberts have joined the board of Junior Achievement of Arkansas, which provides financial literacy, work readiness and entrepreneurial education to K-12 students.
Alik is the consul general of the Republic of the Marshall Islands in Springdale. Childers is director of the state Division of Workforce Services. Dauzat is director of operations with Arkansas Blue Cross Blue Shield’s NWA Corporate Center in Springdale.
Faulkner is owner and CEO of Staley Technologies Inc. of Little Rock. Gullotta works in the controllership of Walmart Inc. of Bentonville. Hallenbeck is a registered patent attorney.
Monteverdi is the evening anchor at KARK-TV, Channel 4, in Little Rock. Owens is the sales director at Staybridge Suites Bentonville-Rogers. Parker is a broker at Cushman & Wakefield-Sage Partners of Little Rock.
Quinn is executive director of the Arkansas Good Roads Foundation. Roberts is CEO of the Arkansas Arts Academy of Rogers.
