A palatial 12,052-SF home in Springdale sold for $1.75 million.
The sellers were Samuel and Kelly Rothschild through their joint revocable trust. Sam Rothschild is the COO of Slim Chickens, the restaurant chain founded in Fayetteville in 2003. Rothschild joined the company in 2014.
The two-story home, in the gated Churchill Downs neighborhood, sits on 2.2 acres and has eight bedrooms, 7½ bathrooms, a mother-in-law residence, a pool with four waterfalls and an outdoor kitchen.
The Rothschilds bought the home in 2016 for $1.4 million, and it ranked as the sixth-most expensive home sale in Washington and Benton counties. The buyer was Jesse Taylor of Centerton.
Smartbank of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, provided a loan of $950,000.
