Annemarie Dillard Jazic
Dillard’s Inc. of Little Rock heir Annemarie Dillard Jazic, the department store chain’s vice president of ecommerce and digital marketing, has joined the board of the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in Bentonville.
Board Chair Olivia Walton said that Jazic’s longtime commitment to philanthropy, business expertise, and deep Arkansas roots add experience that the board needs to help steer the museum’s growth over the next decade.
“I am beyond thrilled to have Annemarie join our board. Her commitment to the state of Arkansas and its communities is inspiring,” Walton said in a news release. “As Crystal Bridges works to expand the definition of art and increase the positive impact we have in the Heartland and beyond, Annemarie’s experience and vision will help guide our strategy and connect Crystal Bridges statewide.”
Jazic has held board positions at companies including Sapho, Venku, and Bleav and is an active angel investor. This year, Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders appointed Jazic to the Arkansas Economic Development Commission.
Jazic is a past committee member of former Gov. Asa Hutchinson’s Economic Recovery Task Force, which was formed in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Jazic is a graduate of the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California, a member of the board of advisors for the university’s Marshall Partners, and a board member of Big Brothers Big Sisters while in Los Angeles.
In Arkansas, she has served on the boards of UAMS Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute, the Arkansas State Fair, and Big Brothers Big Sisters.
“Crystal Bridges has been critical in helping to usher in a new era for our beautiful state, not only bringing access to some of the best art in the world to Arkansas and to the Heartland, but also helping to trigger curiosity and enthusiasm that has inspired creativity, excitement, and entrepreneurship for a new generation,” Jazic said in the release. “I am grateful to have a small part in helping Olivia Walton and the Crystal Bridges team continue to build upon the foundation of this incredible museum, for the next decade and beyond.”
