The Independent Insurance Agents of Arkansas announced that Drew Higginbothom, vice president of Smith & Co. Insurance of Forrest City, has been elected president of the professional trade association.
The organization is known as Big I Arkansas and is headquartered in North Little Rock. It has more than 400 agency members and company partners.
Higginbothom follows Nancy Jackson as president of the organization. Jackson, president of Roberson & Associates Insurance in Benton, was the first woman elected to the position.
Big I Arkansas’ other elected officers include:
- President-Elect Brandi McKinney of McGhee Insurance NWA in Rogers
- Vice President Jeff Maneth of Anderson + Frazier Insurance in Hope
- Secretary/Treasurer David Beck of First Arkansas Insurance in Pine Bluff
- State National Director Bryan Clinkscales of Boone Ritter Insurance in Springdale
