Celerit Technologies

Celerit Technologies has grown from a Greenbrier company originally named Technetics Corp. to a national information technology staff source based in Little Rock.

The company, with about 100 employees, now boasts a 10,000-person database of contract programmers, developers, consultants and training personnel who can help clients quickly – hence the January 2003 name change that combines the Latin word “celer” for “swift” with “IT.”

“(Business) continued to grow and doubled each year for a number of years,” said Wayne Ball, president of Celerit.

Celerit, which takes on short-term projects as well as for those that take a few years, has come to specialize in the banking industry and has historically provided services to Fortune 100 businesses and the top 100 U.S. banks on its way to becoming one of the country’s biggest IT services providers.

The Arkansas Banker’s Association has endorsed Celerit as a vendor as the company has become a player in data processing and network management for Arkansas’ community banks.

A data center was opened at a campus at 208 Atkins Road in Little Rock late last year. Operating as Celerit Solutions in late 2003, it specializes in community banking data processing and IT services.

Soon, all of Celerit’s operations will be move to the Atkins Road location from 2200 N. Rodney Parham Road. The headquarters is slated to move there in 2004 upon completion of a new building.

Celerit officials believe commitment to execution, visionary leadership, finding the right people with the right skills and providing excellent services to customers.

Celerit also makes initial investments in technology, new applications and resources prior to presentation to clients to speed up implementation of IT solutions.
