The Conductor

The Conductor of Conway has an ambitious mission: to empower current and aspiring entrepreneurs, innovators and small-business leaders in central Arkansas.

A public-private partnership between the University of Central Arkansas and Startup Junkie Consulting of Fayetteville, The Conductor provides resources for entrepreneurs to lower barriers for starting and growing their own businesses. The organization also runs the Arnold Innovation Center in Conway, an 11,000-SF low-cost working space where entrepreneurs can work, collaborate and grow.

The Conductor provides a Kiva loan program for crowdfunded 0% interest loans of up to $15,000 and a 10X Growth Accelerator Program for businesses with revenue of between $100,000 and $10 million.

In 2019, The Conductor won a competitive Regional Innovation Cluster contract from the U.S. Small Business Administration to expand to an 11-county service area.
