2 min read

The Soirée Women’s Leadership Symposium announced that award-winning journalist and producer Soledad O’Brien will be the event’s keynote speaker.

The event, set for May 2 at the Statehouse Convention Center in downtown Little Rock, will once again feature breakout sessions and panels led by industry experts in three specified tracks: executive, entrepreneur and leading ladies.

“With a new venue and Soledad O’Brien headlining, we already knew we had something special in store for 2024,” said Mandy Richardson, symposium founder and publisher of Little Rock Soirée magazine. “But now seeing this impressive roster of speakers come together, and knowing we have the opportunity to bring in a record number of women to hear from them, we’re even more excited to welcome everyone to the table.”

Registration for the half-day symposium is open now. Click here to reserve your spot.

O’Brien was inducted into the Broadcasting and Cable Hall of fame in May 2023. She’s also the founder of Soledad O’Brien Productions, a media production company dedicated to telling empowering and authentic stories on a range of social issues, and the PowHerful Foundation, which has helped dozens of young women through college and connects with thousands of others through regional mentoring conferences.

She anchors and produces “Matter of Fact” with Soledad O’Brien, a Hearst political magazine program seen nationwide.

O’Brien is a four-time Emmy winner, three-time Peabody Awards winner, and four-time winner of the Gracie Award, which honors women in media.
