1 min read

Silver Oak Services Partners of Dallas appointed Steve Clark as CEO of PLA, the private equity firm’s supply chain services subsidiary.

Clark founded Propak Logistics in Fort Smith in 1999 and was CEO of that company until it was acquired by Silver Oak in 2022.  PLA is a conglomerate consisting of eight companies that include Pallet Logistics of America and Propak; Clark had remained head of Propak after its acquisition by Silver Oak.

“Steve’s experience building out innovative reverse logistics, 3PL, and freight capabilities uniquely positions him to lead PLA during this exciting phase of growth,” Silver Oak partner Wade Glisson said in a statement. “We look forward to leveraging his unique skill set to realize the full potential of PLA’s service offering.”

PLA said it has 75 facilities in 21 states and handles more than 115 million pallets every year for 1,300 customers.

“Our focus remains on supporting the needs of our customers as they continue to grow in this rapidly evolving market, and I’m honored to lead such a talented team of industry experts into the future of the pallet and logistics space,” Clark said.
