Brittany Marsh, Fletcher Hanson Appointed to St. Louis Fed Industry Councils

1 min read

The Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis announced that two Arkansans are among the newest appointees to its industry councils.

Brittany Goings Marsh, owner of Cornerstone Pharmacy and Compounding in Little Rock, was named to the Health Care Industry Council.

J. Fletcher Hanson III, principal, executive vice president and principal broker at Moses Tucker Partners in Little Rock, was named to the Real Estate Industry Council.

The St. Louis Fed serves the Eighth Federal Reserve District, which includes all of Arkansas, eastern Missouri, southern Indiana, southern Illinois, western Kentucky, western Tennessee, and northern Mississippi.

The St. Louis Fed created four district industry councils in 2006, each designed to provide important feedback about economic conditions in key sectors.

The members’ observations — along with the economic data developed through the Federal Reserve Board’s Beige Book and meetings of the Reserve Bank’s board of directors — help ensure conditions in the district are considered in monetary policy deliberations in Washington, D.C.
