A home once used by Washington Regional Medical Center as a cancer support home has found a buyer.
Fayetteville musician Jake Scott and his wife, Rachel, bought the 4,586-SF home on Woolsey Avenue for $2.12 million. Jake Scott, a singer-songwriter, has written songs for multiple country stars and was nominated for a CMT Music Award for Collaborative Video of the Year in 2023.
The home has six bedrooms and 3½ bathrooms and was built in 1926. It was the hospital’s Cancer Support Home from 1995 to 2021.
Century Bank of the Ozarks of Gainesville, Missouri, provided a loan of $1.59 million.
The seller was Allison Thurmond Quinlan, the trustee of the Wellerman Trust. Quinlan acquired the property for $450,000 in 2022 through her Matchlock Ltd. Co. subsidiary.
Quinlan is the founder of Flintlock LAB, an architectural firm in Fayetteville.
