Ideal Construction Co. has grown a lot since its start in the lumber industry in Crossett in 1948. Today, the company has offices in El Dorado, Little Rock and Texarkana, Texas, and works heavily in commercial construction, including rural health care facilities and schools.
The company’s work extends beyond Arkansas to include projects like a recently completed hospital in Bernice, Louisiana, south of El Dorado, as well as projects as far away as Alabama and Florida.
The company is also building the El Dorado Intermediate School and a State Police training facility in East Camden.
The company is in “a big growth mode,” according to President Hunter Klippert, who has plenty in store for 2026, including a community and aquatic center in Hope and a hospital in southern Missouri.
“We’re going through a lot of growth,” Klippert said.
