Sierra Fowler
The Farm & Food Innovation Center Inc. of North Little Rock has named Sierra Fowler as its interim executive director.
Fowler, a former FFIC operations manager, will oversee the integration of the former St. Joseph Farm LLC into Farm & Food’s operations. Fowler takes over for Jody Hardin, who owned St. Joseph Farm and remains as an advisor to the FFIC board.
“Ms. Fowler’s capable leadership and organizational skills and experience on the ground with the FFIC these past months will help ensure its objectives are achieved,” Jacob Sheatsley, board chairman, said in a news release.
FFIC is an Arkansas GardenCorps host site and home to a community garden as well as a food forest project supported by the City of North Little Rock Fit 2 Live program.
“It is exciting to be a part of a team that is so passionate about positively impacting the sustainable food system in this state,” Fowler said in the release.
