Arkansas gross general revenue in November was $464.6 million, up 8 percent from last year and 2.8 percent above forecast, according to a report Tuesday by the state Department of Finance & Administration.
Year to date, gross general revenue was roughly $2.4 billion, up 2.8 percent from the same time last year and 0.5 percent above forecast.

The gain in November results was driven by sales tax collections and individual income tax collections reflecting calendar-related shift effects from payroll timing, according to DFA officials.
The report said sales tax collections in November totaled $180.5 million, a 3 percent increase over the same month a year ago. In addition, collections were 0.4 percent above forecast.
Corporate tax collections totaled $6.4 million, up 0.2 percent but 15.2 percent below forecast.
Also in November, individual income tax collections reached $227.1 million, up 14.9 percent from the same time last year and 5.7 percent above forecast.
