A January smash-and-grab at Sissy’s Log Cabin on North Grant Street in Little Rock apparently hasn’t done much to slow the store down.
The business will be expanding in the coming months to include an additional 2,300 SF of showroom space. That area will include a boutique featuring Rolex, Lagos and David Yurman offerings.
In a recent interview with your Whispers staff, Bill Jones, the president of Sissy’s Log Cabin, said the store had completed the insurance claim process over the January robbery. Readers might recall that Jones himself was at the store at the time and fired a warning shot that dispersed the assailants.
Jones said that the store now has a full-time security guard to deter future incidents, which he said has been received favorably by customers.
There have been rumors that the suspects involved in the robbery had been apprehended in one of the northern states — Minnesota or Wisconsin, depending on whom you ask. But Little Rock police say there have been no arrests in the case.
