Dr. Brad Teague.
The Conway Corporation Board of Directors selected Brad Teague, the University of Central Arkansas athletic director, to serve a seven-year term with the board, which began on May 8, 2015.
“It’s an honor to serve Conway Corporation, which has contributed greatly to our community since the 1920s,” Teague said in a news release. “It is a large reason why Conway has thrived over time.”
Conway Corporation was created in 1929 to give financial assistance to area colleges and now supports higher education in the community.
During Teague’s time at UCA, the athletic department has grown and transitioned from a NCAA DII to DI school.
Teague earned a bachelor’s and master’s degree from Delta State University and a doctorate in leadership from the University of Mississippi. He served on the Southland Advisory Council as compliance committee chair from 2010-2012, as vice president from 2010-2012, and then as president from 2012-2015. Teague is also a member of the Conway Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.
Teague replaces Bill Adkisson, whose term ended on May 8, 2015.
