Craig S. Lair has been elected CEO of Rose Law Firm of Little Rock, the firm said Tuesday.

Lair is a business and tax attorney with a practice that involves advanced trust issues, tax issues, corporate transactions and business planning.

Lair succeeds Steve Joiner, who was CEO for nine years and will now take on the role of past chairman.

“Craig has served as chairman of our business section and brings 20 years of experience as an attorney to the position,” Joiner said in a news release. “He is committed to future growth as well as continuing our long-standing emphasis on outstanding client service.”

Lair graduated with dual degrees of an M.A. in economics and a J.D. with high honors from Duke University. He earned his bachelor’s of business administration in accounting from Harding University.

“I’m very excited about the bright future of our firm,” Lair said. “We have a terrific combination of exciting, innovative clients and talented attorneys.”

Lair is a fellow in the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, a member of the AICPA, the Pulaski County and American Bar Associations and is a past chairman of the Arkansas Taxation Bar Committee.
