AIA Emerging Professional: Josh Siebert, Assoc. AIA

1 min read

Josh Siebert, associate AIA, is the lead designer and co-founder of architecture and prototyping firm Modus Studio in Fayetteville.

After graduating from the University of Arkansas in 2002 with a degree in Architecture and a minor in Art, Siebert moved to Kansas City with his wife to work for HOK Sport+Venue+Event (now known as Populous), a firm that allowed him to blend his passion for sports with designing on projects like the Sabina Park Cricket Club, New York Yankees Stadium and the Washington Nationals Baseball Park.

After three and a half years with HOK, Siebert returned to Arkansas to pursue projects smaller in scale. In late 2005, he accepted a position in the Rogers office of Tucker Sadler Architects. a firm based in San Diego. The time spent at Tucker Sadler allowed Siebert to expand his skills in the development market before joining Chris Baribeau in 2008 to co-found Modus Studio.

Modus has worked diligently to improve Arkansas’ rural and institutional education facilities in recent years, with Siebert leading the design of multiple prominent University of Arkansas facilities, Green Forest Middle School and Athletic Complex, and both the Flippin and the Melbourne elementary schools under construction.

Through inventive design, careful attention to detail and a clear understanding of use, Siebert and the entire Modus Studio team strive to create projects that stretch beyond individual building footprints to enhance their lives of their clients and communities.
