Little Rock mobile messaging provider Sumotext recently landed another major national client: Avis/Budget Group.
Sumotext was the firm behind Starbucks’ 2014 frappuccino mobile marketing campaign. Other national clients include Humana; Southwest Airlines; EA Sports; Firehouse Subs; L’Oreal; Corona; Belmont Park, Saratoga, Aqueduct and Keeneland thoroughbred race courses; the singing group Boyz II Men; Applebee’s; Boar’s Head; and the U.S. Naval Academy.
Plus, Sumotext recently moved from west Little Rock into new downtown digs across from the Little Rock Chamber in the Heritage West Building. And CEO Tim Miller reports that the company’s StarStar numbers are gaining traction. Sumotext hosts more than 50 StarStar numbers for its clients, by far more than anyone else, he says.
StarStar, you ask? We did, too.
StarStar numbers, Miller said, are “intelligent vanity phone numbers” that provide a quick and easy way for consumers to respond to broadcast, print and outdoor ads through a phone call. More than 200 brands have released their own StarStar numbers, Miller said.
