1 min read

The Little Rock Regional Chamber of Commerce will hold its 150th annual meeting on Thursday, Dec. 17, featuring Gary Norcross, president and CEO of FIS, a Fortune 500 global banking and payments technology company.

The luncheon will take place 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at the Statehouse Convention Center’s Wally Allen Ballroom.

During his 27-year career at FIS, Norcross held a number of senior management positions and has driven consistent growth across the enterprise.

Under Norcross’ leadership, FIS has grown to more than 42,000 employees and over $6 billion in global annual revenue. The firm ranks among the industry’s leading financial technology providers, topping the FinTech 100 rankings six of the past nine years and being named by Forbes Magazine as one of the World’s Most Innovative Companies.

In 1990, FIS purchased Alltel’s information services division and took over its west Little Rock operations.

The 90-minute lunch is the Chamber’s largest event of the year and celebrates the past year’s accomplishments and announces the coming year’s priorities. The event will also preview how the organization will celebrate its sesquicentennial in 2016.
