Robert "Bunny" Adcock
Gov. Asa Hutchinson on Wednesday announced the following appointments to university boards of trustees.
“These three individuals that I’ve appointed are valued members of their communities with sound backgrounds in both education and government,” the governor said in a statement. “They are well respected among the members of their particular board, and I have no doubt they will serve their respective institutions well.”
The appointments are:
Stacy Crawford of Jonesboro to the Arkansas State University board of trustees. Term begins Jan. 15 and expires Jan. 14, 2021.
Crawford is a social worker at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jonesboro. She holds both a master’s degree and a bachelor’s degree in social work and is certified in equine assisted psychotherapy and equine assisted learning. Crawford is an alumna of Arkansas State University.
Robert “Bunny” Adcock of Conway, to University of Central Arkansas board of trustees. Term begins Jan. 15 and expires Jan. 14, 2023.
Adcock is the vice chairman of the board at Centennial Bank. His service to UCA includes previous employment as both vice president of finance and head golf coach. Adcock has also served as a member of the UCA Foundation board of directors and other university committees.
Tom Kennedy of Little Rock to the Arkansas Tech University board of trustees. Term begins Jan. 15 and expires Jan. 14, 2021.
Kennedy is the vice president of public affairs at Entergy Arkansas Inc. He is an ATU alumnus.
Kennedy served two terms as prosecuting attorney for the Fifth Judicial District and was appointed as a special assistant United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Arkansas. He previously served as a state senator, and was named one of the top 10 legislators by the Democrat-Gazette.
