Good Roads Foundation Names Newton, Beaver to Executive Committee

The board of the Arkansas Good Roads Foundation has elected Shannon Newton and Harold Beaver to its executive committee, it announced this week.

Newton is president of the Arkansas Trucking Association and has been with the organization since 2003.

Beaver is a registered professional engineer and is serving as president of the Arkansas Academy of Civil Engineering. He retired from Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department in 2004.

The Arkansas Good Roads Foundation is a nonprofit dedicated to “securing adequate funding and financing for the planning, development, construction, and maintenance of a safe and efficient Arkansas highway system.”
