Arkansas Preservation Awards to Honor Ethel Goodstein-Murphree

The 2015 Arkansas Preservation Awards will take place Jan. 15 honoring Ethel Goodstein-Murphree, recipient of the 2015 Parker Westbrook Award for Lifetime Achievement.

The program and dinner, hosted by the Historic Preservation Alliance of Arkansas, are at Albert Pike Masonic Temple located at 712 Scott St. in Little Rock. The event will also feature a special tribute to founding president Parker Westbrook.

Goodstein-Murphree is an associate dean and professor at the University of Arkansas Fay Jones School of Architecture. She served as interim dean of the Fay Jones School from May 2013 through June 2014.

Before joining the UA faculty in 1992, she worked for the Arkansas Historic Preservation Program and taught at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

The reception begins at 6 p.m. in the Crawford Room followed by at 6:45 p.m. by dinner and a program in the dining room.

Tickets are available here and range from $100-$250 per person.
