Treatsie Names Kelli Marks Digital Content Manager

1 min read

Artisan sweets startup Treatsie of Little Rock announced Tuesday it has hired Sweet Love Bakes founder Kelli Marks as head of digital content.

Treatsie, an Innovate Arkansas firm, helps consumers discover artisan sweets from all over the country through a monthly subscription box and an online marketplace.

“We are beyond thrilled to be adding Kelli to the Treatsie team,” said Keith Hoelzeman, CEO and cofounder of Treatsie. “We see a lot of sweets from around the country and she is one of the most creative confectioners we have ever seen. That coupled with her background at a creative agency make her a perfect fit to lead our digital content.”

Marks founded Sweet Love Bakes in 2012. She was included among Little Rock Soirée magazine’s nine “dessert queens” in 2014. Named by Taste of the South as one of the best places in the South to get cake, the business closed this month amid rising cost of supplies.

“I am so excited to be a part of the future of Treatsie, this opportunity is the perfect mix of my two passions — marketing and desserts,” Marks said.

Marks has an MBA and a bachelor’s degree in advertising from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Before launching Sweet Love, she worked at CJRW as a copywriter, collecting numerous gold and silver ADDYs at the state and regional level.
