Goodwill Industries of Arkansas will open a new retail store and donation center in Bella Vista at 9 a.m. Thursday and host a ribbon cutting at 10 a.m.
The store, at 2010 Town Center SE, is the 42nd Goodwill location in the state.
The new retail store is an expansion of Goodwill’s presence in Bella Vista, which already has a donation center. In June, Goodwill plans to expand again to incorporate a career center into the Town Center location.
The Bella Vista store will have clothes, shoes, handbags and other accessories, housewares, books, linens, game and athletic equipment, furniture and much more merchandise for markedly reduced prices.
Donors can bring by and drop off their gently-used contributions anytime Monday to Saturday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. All donations to Goodwill are tax deductible, and the funds generated by their sale go to job training within the community.
