Adam Day and Jonathan Opitz were named principals of AMR Architects of Little Rock on Jan. 1.
Day is a 2008 graduate of the University of Arkansas Fay Jones School of Architecture. The associate director of the Arkansas chapter of the American Institute of Architects, Day joined AMR in 2014.
Opitz is a 2003 graduate of the Fay Jones School of Architecture, where he was twice awarded the future promise scholarship. He has won several design competitions and was the 2014 AIA Arkansas Emerging Professional Award recipient. He is the current president of Architecture + Design Network.
Amanda Sturgell of Polk Stanley Wilcox Architects in Little Rock has passed her architectural registration examinationsand is now a licensed architect in Arkansas.
Sturgell, a graduate of the Fay Jones School of Architecture at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, has been with the firm for five years and is LEED-accredited in building design and construction.
Shawn Daniel has joined Jon Underhill Real Estate as a real estate agent. A graduate of the University of Central Arkansas, Daniel has worked in sales since 1999.
