Aimee Arzoumanian
Aimee Arzoumanian is now the assistant CEO of Sparks Health System. Arzoumanian will oversee operations at Sparks Medical Center–Van Buren, as well as select departments at Sparks Regional Medical Center in Fort Smith.
“I’m looking forward to joining a very experienced and talented team in Van Buren and helping them to continue to have a positive influence on healthcare in Crawford County,” Arzoumanian said in a news release. “The hospital has great potential and we hope to expand in order to better serve community members.”
Arzoumanian joined Sparks Health System in 2009 as a hospitalist physician assistant and later became an assistant administrator in 2013. She earned a master’s degree in physician assistant studies from Mercy College in New York and a master’s degree in health care administration from Trinity University in San Antonio.
Arzoumanian began her career at Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, New York, as a physician assistant in the hospital’s emergency room. She then worked for the Myeloma Institute for Research and Therapy at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, serving cancer and transplant patients.
Arzoumanian serves as a board member for both the Fort Smith Symphony and Christ the King School, as well as an Arkansas Chamber of Commerce Healthcare Committee Member.
