Tenaris of Luxembourg City, Luxembourg, announced Thursday that it is laying off about 100 employees at its welded pipe mill in Blytheville.
The company also laid off 100 people in January.
“The adjustments to its operations are due to the continued downturn in the oil and gas sector,” the company said in a news release.
The company also said it would continue to monitor market conditions and align its workforce and production levels as needed.
Tenaris said it’s committed to U.S. manufacturing and is moving forward with strategic investment plans to better position itself for growth.
