Field Agent Unveils Online Back-to-School Resource Center

1 min read

Field Agent of Fayetteville unveiled its online resource center “The Back-to-School Locker” for brands and retailers this week.

The company said the center would offer information, including research based on surveys with more than 1,500 mothers of K-12 students and more than 500 college students ages 18-24, that retailers and brands will be looking for to gauge back-to-school shoppers’ needs, habits and expectations.

The mothers were asked about their retailer preferences, shopping behavior, purchase influences and frustrations with back-to-school shopping. The college students were asked about their preferred retailers for school supplies, attire, fast food, alcohol, bedding materials and more. The results are available here.

“Back-to-school is a critical event for many retailers and brands,” Field Agent co-founder and CEO Rick West said in a news release. “BTS is also a busy time for us, when we partner with companies to develop and refine their retail strategy and execution. We know that our new Back-to-School Locker will be the go-to place for companies as they prepare for BTS shoppers, and further demonstrate our commitment to helping companies succeed during this important retail season.”

Other resources available through the new center include insights on back-to-school attire, makeup and hygiene purchases; a seven-question “study guide” for companies that includes information on out-of-stock items, display compliance, prices checks and in-store marketing; and a reporting dashboard that will help companies monitor and share in-store conditions.
