Karen Hutchins
Karen Hutchins, executive director of the Arkansas Bar Association, was recently elected president of the Arkansas Society of Association Executives.
Other new officers are Brian Itzkowitz, president of Goodwill Industries of Arkansas Inc., vice president; and Derek Rudkin, executive director of the Pulaski County Medical Society, secretary/treasurer.
Marilyn Koehler, director of national accounts for the Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau, is an ex-officio member of the board. Other board members include Karen Gehre, Holly Heer, Max Braswell, Rita Madison, Jodiane Tritt and Drew Ramey.
Vicki Farmer, executive director of the Arkansas Optometric Association, is the immediate past president.
