Shelby Fiegel has been promoted to assistant director at the Center for Community & Economic Development at the University of Central Arkansas in Conway, where she was previously a project coordinator.
Corey Parks has been promoted to project coordinator at the center after a summer internship in which he helped organize the 30th annual Community Development Institute.
Marc Glidden, assistant director of student housing at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, has been promoted to director of campus living and assistant dean of students. Glidden will supervise the Office of Campus Living and the Campus Living Leadership Team and will manage a budget of about $9 million.
Rylie Bevill has been hired as associate director of admissions at Ozarka College in Melbourne (Izard County). Bevill is an alumna of Ozarka College, where she received an associate of arts degree; she received a bachelor of science degree from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville.
Ronnie Huckeba, former head football coach for Harding University in Searcy, has stepped down to take a new role as senior advancement officer for Harding.
Kathryn Jones of Bentonville has been named chair of the Arkansas Educational Television Network Commission of Conway. Annette Herrington of Little Rock is vice chair for fiscal 2017, and George “Skip” Holland of Fayetteville is secretary-treasurer. Holland was also reappointed to the AETN Foundation board.
Gov. Asa Hutchinson recently appointed West Doss Jr. of Fayetteville to an eight-year term on the AETN Commission. Other commissioners are Sammie Benjamin of Glenwood, John Brown of Siloam Springs, Andrew Fulkerson of Paragould and Philip Hathcock of Maumelle.
Julie Dorrough of Fayetteville and Mary Dillard of Malvern have been elected to the board of directors of the Girl Scouts-Diamonds of Arkansas, Oklahoma & Texas. Dorrough is vice president of tax at J.B. Hunt Transport Services Inc. and has been involved with Girl Scouts in multiple capacities. Dillard is the retired president of Mary Dillard Consulting and has served as president of the Girl Scouts of Ouachita Council.
