Dr. Charles “Chuck” Pearce recently joined the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences as an orthopedic sports medicine surgeon specializing in shoulder problems.
He will see patients at the UAMS Orthopaedic Clinic on Shackleford Road in Little Rock. He has been practicing in Little Rock for 28 years.
He earned his medical degree at UAMS, where he also served his residency in orthopedic surgery. He completed fellowship training at San Antonio Orthopaedic Group in San Antonio.
Dr. Ann Layton and Dr. Paul Valentin-Stone have joined CHI St. Vincent as physicians at the CHI St. Vincent Primary Care Clinic in Jacksonville.
Dr. Kristen Leinhart was recently elected as president of the board of directors of the Pulaski County Medical Society for 2017.
Other officers joining the board in 2017 are Dr. Amir Qureshi as president-elect, Dr. Joshua Chance as vice president, Dr. James Meserow as secretary and Dr. David King as treasurer. Dr. Monica Dellimore serves as the immediate past president.
